Since the foundation in 1982, marco has grown from a medium-small-sized business in Karlsfeld to an internationally active medium-sized group. The production and corporate headquarter are located in Dachau, Germany and marco's service branches have now been established in Beijing - China, Seoul - Korea, Mackay - Australia, Novokuznetsk and Vorkuta - Russia, Kharkov - Ukraine and in Bac Ninh - Vietnam. The development department for piezo technology was taken over in Hermsdorf in 1992 and since then key components have been produced there in the form of industrially usable, fast dispensing valves and ultrasound applications for OEM customers and automotive. Marco is also a market leader and a global supplier of electrohydraulic control systems for mining machines in difficult and harsh operating conditions.

Marco is ISO 9001 certified and is subject to regular audits by the certifying institutions. In order to ensure the quality level of the control components for mining, the marco production processes are regularly examined by the important licensing authorities of the Länder.

Marco products are certified according to ATEX Europe, GOST Russia and Ukraine, MA China and MSHA USA and Testafe Australia.

For applications in the automotive sector, the company is certified to the extent required or is audited by the customer.
